Channel manager for Booking.com
Keep Booking.com and every other channel in sync from one calendar: prices, availability, restrictions and reservations.
Why connect Booking.com with Sojodesk
Booking.com is usually the largest source of reservations for a small hotel, which also makes it the biggest risk for double bookings. Connecting it to your Sojodesk calendar means a room that is sold anywhere else is closed on Booking.com within minutes.
You manage prices, minimum stay, closed-to-arrival and stop-sell centrally. Dynamic pricing, gap-night discounts and last-minute discounts from Sojodesk are sent to Booking.com as ordinary rates.
How to connect Booking.com
- 1
Open your Booking.com extranet
Log in as the property. Booking.com uses two-step verification by phone, which is why this step is done by you.
- 2
Choose a connectivity provider
Go to Account → Connectivity provider, search for our partner name that we give you, and accept the connection agreement.
- 3
Send us your property ID
Copy the property ID shown at the top of the extranet. We use it to link your property.
- 4
We map and activate
We link every Booking.com room and rate to the right Sojodesk room and rate, check derived rates, and switch the connection on.
What you get with Booking.com
Prices and availability pushed
Rates, availability and restrictions per night are sent to Booking.com, and updated whenever your calendar changes.
Reservations come back in
New, changed and cancelled Booking.com bookings appear in your calendar automatically, with the guest, room and price.
Closed when sold
When a room is sold on another channel or directly, it is closed on Booking.com within minutes, so you are not double-booked.
Good to know
- Booking.com may change settings of derived rates when a channel manager connects. We check minimum stay and derived rates with you after connecting.
- Rooms and rates you no longer sell should be removed in the extranet so nothing stays unmapped.
- Guests who pay by virtual card are shown on the booking; you charge those as you do today.
